That's what England Manager Gareth Southgate said after the Euro 2020 final on Sunday. Right after three England players missed their three penalties, giving the game to Italy.
Heartbreaking to watch the game, but listening to Southgate after the match take full responsibility for the three mistakes puts the spotlight on him, not the individual players.
Now, if only every manager could take that same level of ownership and responsibility to their part in failure…
