How To Speak Up About Difficult Topics

When you don't quite know what to say, it is easy to hold back and say nothing. That all changed for me and several executives last week.

I hosted a small virtual gathering of brilliant executives and Jason White changed the dialogue and inspired action. He joined with this as his zoom background, and it completely flipped the conversation to one about the challenges the black community is facing right now and what any executive can do about it regardless of your skin color.

It starts with starting the conversation and asking yourself, what can you actually do?

For those who need a voice and for those with a voice. Stand together. Use for your zoom or team's background.

Already from our discussion yesterday 3,300 other leaders have been having this conversation.

Ask yourself what can I actually do? What can my company do? How can I help my community?

Dedicated to growing your business,

Val
